On 2^nd of April, at 10:00, the 2^nd General Council Meeting of the Environment Council was held at the Environment Council's meeting room and was presided over by its president, Mr. Vai Tac Leong. The following members of the General Council were present at the meeting: Mr. Leong Man Io; Ms. Cheung So Mui; Mr. Vong Chau Son; Mr. Chan Ian Chan; Prof. Wang Zhishi; Prof. Chan Shek Kiu; Ms. Ho Kam Ha; and Mr. Pang Vai Kam as well as the members of the Executive Committee of the Environment Council: Ms. Vong Man Hung; Mr. Wong Sai Heng; and Mr. Vasco Silvério Marques.

    The meeting commenced by being delivered a short presentation on general information, followed by a discussion and approval of 2008 Environment Council Action Plan, 2007 Managerial Account, and the 1^st Supplementary Budget for 2008 financial year.
