Exhibition - "Water For Life" at Jardim da Cidade das Flores

     The Promotional team for water conservation held the exhibition "Water for Life", on 2^nd December, from 11:00 to 17:00, at Jardim das Flores, by exhibiting 29 posters depicting water conservation and technical practices on water conservation.

     The exhibition integrates a series of activities under "Water for Life" in order to set apart the importance of water resources and reinforce public awareness on water conservation. This exhibition was under the scope of the campaign for water conservation awareness and was organized by promotional team for water conservation formed by officials of the Environment Council, Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau, Government Information Bureau, and The Macao Water Supply Company, Ltd.

     The comprising and rich content of this exhibition focus on relevant issues, such as: the importance and current situation of water resources; worldwide water resources crisis and its causes and consequences; the revolution in water consumption development in Macao; problem areas and protection works on water resources in Macao; as well as technical means for water conservation.

     The team aimed to disclose different viewpoints and sorts of relationships between humans and water resources in the exhibition, as well as the importance of water resources conservation so that population raises awareness on this matter.

     The event took place on 2^nd December, from 11:00 to 17:00, at Jardim da Cidade das Flores in Taipa. Next exhibition will be held on 16 December, from 11:00 to 17:00, at Largo de Eduardo Marques de Coloane (opposite to S. Francisco Xavier¡¦s Church).
