Exhibition "Water for Life"at Largo de Eduardo Marques,

     The Promotional Team for Water Conservation held the exhibition "Water for Life" on 16^th December, from 11:00 to 17:00, at Largo de Eduardo Marques, Coloane (opposite to S. Francisco Xavier's Church), by exhibiting 29 panels on water resources and tips on conserving water.

     The exhibition is also complemented with a series of activities under the motto of "Water for Life", which set apart the importance of water resources and strengthen public awareness on water conservation. This campaign is organized by the Promotional Team for Water Conservation, formed by Environment Council, Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau, Government Information Bureau and The Macao Water Supply Company, Ltd.

     The rich and comprising content of the exhibition includes various relevant issues such as the importance, current situation and worldwide water crisis, its causes and consequences; the evolution of water consumption in Macao, problems and jobs on the protection of Macao water resources; and the technical means to decrease water consumption.

     The team aimed, with this exhibition, to disclose the relationship between the human being and water resources for increasing public's awareness on this issue, as well as the importance of protecting water resources.

     The exhibition will take place at Largo de Eduardo Marques, in Coloane (opposite to S. Francisco Xavier's Church), on 16^th December, from 11:00 to 17:00.
